From a few days i am noticing this change in the logo of StarWorld, their old Purplish logo is replaced by a new logo with white text which was hardly visible on a white screen except the red circle enclosing the star. But on their website though they are still using the old purpulish logo.
I don’t really hate the new logo ( but the old purplish StarWorld logo was much better technically as well as by the looks ), but at least they should have tested it on dark and light backgrounds, if they really wanted to go with this logo.
Someone please give some sort of outline so that a person might not think that his TV screen got some problem of red circles when on white backgrounds….what you dont believe me check some of these screenshots.. By the way i was not watching the programs…
I also hate the new logo but thanks God Dishtv India DTH is showing old star world logo…Only my cable has old logo star world…I am from Abbottabad
That might be the reason why StarWorld got the same classic logo on there website.

i actually have to disagree with u mate, i think the new logo is radical, more simple and radient.. 🙂
midhunhk i said that it looks like a red circle on a screen with white background.
And the text ( STAR ) written above the WORLD is hardly visible atleast on my TV 21” or Computer Screen 19”, i dont know which resolution u got.
By the way i like the favicon at there website.. 😉
